Here it is, 1:00 A.M and my hubby and I just came walking in the door. Party animals; I know! We just came back from seeing "Prince Caspian"... and it was good. When it started off... you kind of get thinking, "Is this going to be as good as Narnia?", but it is. It is different and MUCH darker than the first.... but still really good. I would consider maybe leaving some younger children behind... most of the movie is fighting and murder. I.. um.. may have gotten a tad... a bit... teary eyed during it too. What can I say.... I am a total cry baby :) But be prepared, this movie is LONG, almost 3 hours and worth the time. So, instead of me posting some wonderful tid-bit of information, I am going to leave you all with a nice hardy chuckle because I am tired and my poor husband is falling asleep on the couch while he waits for me to finish... so for his sake, I need to be brief... enjoy :)

We've been trying to find some time to see Prince Caspian too. We just rewatched the first one a few weeks ago to remember how it left off and I read the first 3 books in the series. They get horrible after that and I just can't bear to read them. I'm excited about this movie though! I hadn't talked with anyone who had seen it yet!
ReplyDeleteI really want to see that movie but I'll have to wait for the DVD.
ReplyDelete:) Those are great cartoons.
ReplyDeleteI want to see that movie! Can't wait!
Those are hilarious cartoons!
ReplyDeleteI have a rule with my kids that they can't see any movie without reading the books (or having the books read to them) first. But hubby and I will definitely be seeing it! The Narnia books are some of my favorite, and I thought they did a great job with the first!
Of course, the last movie we actually saw in a theater was Water Boy, so that says something about our nights out! I'm sure we'll see Prince Caspian from the comfort of the couch.
Oh, my husband and I want to see Prince Caspian so bad! We'll have to work at finding a sitter for our three little monsters.
ReplyDeleteLOL the comics were funny. I do want to see that movie, but I'll probably wait and just rent it.
ReplyDeleteThere are so many good movies out right now. Caspian is one of them on my list. I hope I get to it while it's still in the theater. Love the Vadar comic! :0)
ReplyDeleteThere are so many movies out right now that I want to see, and this is definitely one of them. I wasted my one movie a month on Indiana Jones last week though so maybe in June. Glad you liked it.

ReplyDeleteI'm definitely missing Caspian - but never fear, the girls will just add it to their Netflix queue. I heart Netflix!
That cartoon is my all-time favorite (the DV one).

ReplyDeleteI took every one to Narnia. Including my 2 year old who promptly sleep the whole movie through. It was fun for them.
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't let any child go to Indiana. The ant scene freaked me out, and I'm no sissy when it comes to movie.
ReplyDeleteShoshana
Yeah for a date night! Glad you and the hubby got some alone time!

Really love the kermit cartoon with the hand inside. I think we might be waiting a while to get the movie, then I have to wait for DVD!
ReplyDeletehe he he...i love the kermit cartoon!
ReplyDeleteI actually took all four kids to see Prince Caspian--I really didn't think it was too bad as compared to most stuff (just lots of swords). My oldest has read all the books--we both are eagerly waiting for the "Magician's nephew" our favorite :)
ReplyDeleteThe kermit cartoon was a riot :)
I cannot wait to go see the movie - glad you enjoyed it and glad you forewarned me!
