Wish Us Good Luck

Well, tomorrow we are taking the computer in to get fixed.... no... not snip snip kind of fixed, but gutted and put back together. I am happy that we are finally getting this done, but also waaaay bumbed because now I wont be able to blog. So, I am going to be M.I.A. for about 7-10 days. I will try to post here and there from our laptop; which also is on life support.

But until then, I want to get ready for my 100th post. So, all of you out there you can ask me any question about me and my life and I will pick a few to answer my for 100th post. So be thinking of a question and ask, either leave it as a comment or write me at motherhoodfordummies@hotmail.com.

P.S. Please if you can, leave a comment anyways, because I am going to have to bookmark all of the website I visit all over again. So, leave a comment and I can mark you when I get our comp back.

  1. You'll be glad once the computer is back to good working order, but I'm sure you'll be going through major withdrawal while it's away (I would, too!!).

Question(s): I would love to hear more about Alaska. How warm it gets during the summer, how cold it gets during the winter. Differences in lifestyle you've noticed between Alaska and other places in the US. Do you plan on settling in Alaska?

  2. I was going to ask the same thing Heidi just asked...Do you plan on staying in Alaska?

Sorry to hear your computer is going to be MIA for a week! Ack!

  3. Oh "MFD" (I don't think I know your name),
We shall miss you. Hope your computer gets well soon and nothing is lost in the process. Have a good week without us! Catch up on some "Lucy" time!!!

  5. If you were stranded on a desert island and could only bring THREE ITEMS (not including hubby and baby) what would they be?? And why??

  6. I don't think my last comment posted. I'd like to hear more about Alaska too. And don't forget about the library for posting (if you can get there.) Good luck. Oh. And is your blog what you thought it would be? (Mine is not.)

  7. ♡ Yay for a new faster better computer but being out of commission stinks!

  8. Okay my question is:
Have you always been so crafty? Or did you teach yourself?

And good luck to the computer!!!

  9. You are going to be so missed. Are you seriously just hitting your 100th post? I thought you had been blogging longer than that.

My question is this: do you think you'll stay in Alaska? Does your sister give you blog tips in order to keep your blog "top knotch" or do you just intuitively know how like she apparently does?

  10. Hopefully your computer will be like new soon!

  11. Hopefully it'll come back quickly!

And yay for the 100th post!

I haven't read all the other posts, but I wonder... if you had to move to one of the lower 48, which state would it be and why?

  12. Good luck with the computer fixing, hope you don't find anything more exciting to do while you can't blog as much:-)
Question from me would be: what inspires you to be so crafty?
    xx

  14. Oh question time, I love it!

Mine is what did you do before you became a SAHM? Do you miss it?

Hope your computer gets fixed fast, and we will be waiting your next post!

  15. Man - I want MY computer done-over. I didn't even think about that - every time my computer is dying a slow gasping breath I just chuck it and get a new one. Don't worry, I wait until it doesn't turn on before I'm willing to get a new one . . . but still, an expensive habit nevertheless.

  16. It is sad when the computer goes down.

  17. Good luck with your computer! Been there, done that. Hey, by the way, I would LOVE to see you post some pictures of the cute cupcakes your making with your book.

  19. I want to know where you are in Alaska. And do you know the book, If You Lived Here I'd know Your Name? It is a collecti0on of essays by an Alaskan obit writer and it made me long to come there to one of the little seaside villages. Which little seaside village with mountains as a backdrop do you recommend for a vacation?
And good luck with the whole computer thing....

  20. I think it is so neat that your 100th blog post and the 100th episode of Dancing with the Stars are so close together! They are my two most favorite things in the whole, wide world!

I would die if I didn't have your blog to read. Thanks for keeping it up and giving me something to hold on to.

Without Dancing with the Stars, I don't even know what I'd do. I can't even bear to think about it.

My question is: Who do you think on the show Dancing with the Stars is the most likely to read your blog? This person can be from a current or past season.

  23. Wait . . . more. What is your dream career (besides SAHM, of course!)?

What is the very best piece of advice you have ever been given?

If you could live anywhere, where would it be and why?

  24. I'll miss your posts! My question is: What is a typical day of your life like?

    ReplyDelete
  25. Good luck and I hope that it's more like 7 days than 10 days!

Question: When you only have but a few moments of free time, what do you do with it? (Besides blog, of course. lol)

  26. Hope you don't go into blogging with drawl. :)

  29. Good luck with the fix, how frustrating.

I'm curious if you actually get to see Curtis with school and work? I hope it's better than I imagine, one parent for two jobs is simply yucky~

    ReplyDelete
  30. I'd like to know how you and Curtis met. If you've already blogged about this before I found you, just point me in the direction of the post and I'll be quiet. Hope the computer comes back all well and happy again. My BIL does that to computers all the time. They have several in their house that he cannibalizes to fix the other ones. Gruesome, eh?

  38. What is your favorite thing about living in Alaska? Your least favorite? Do you freak out about a bear attack ever since you posted about that record sized bear?
And my old standby question. If a movie was being made about your life who would play you and who would play your hubby?

    ReplyDelete
  39. Being without a computer, oh boy! I sympathize. I hope it can be fixed even faster than they say.
