  3. Ok, I'm feeling pretty hip! I knew them all except Relient K. That's pretty good right?? My kid will probably still be seen with me in public - I'll be it a few steps behind me - but still same building. There's hope right?

  4. Okay, that's it. I'm officially a fuddy duddy mom. Half of these I couldn't tell which was the song title and which was the name of the band.

  6. Most of the new stuff that I listen to isn't played on mainstream radio so I only know a couple of these (although I've heard of all the artists). Do you plan on introducing your daughter to music from the 1980s and earlier when she gets older? It will be a good way to show her that good music never goes out of style.

  8. Love almost all of these! My husband finds the coolest music to listen to. The new Staind song is really good, too...I think it's called Believe. LOVE IT!

  9. This is too cute, the other day my husband is at his day job, where quite a few teens work. Someone must have said, Little Jon, and Spaghetti chimed in. One of the 19 year old girls told him it was so cute that he knew who Little Jon was...sigh...32 is not that old, but I guess to a 19 year old it's practially a senior citizen...

  14. I'm mostly stuck in the 50s through the 80s when it comes to music, but there are a few songs from today I really like.

From your list I'd pick "I Don't Care" as my favorite.

  16. A good place to check out to listen to different music:

You put in a song you like and it continues to play songs for you in that genre. I can click the thumbs down if I detest a song and it never plays the song again or a thumbs up if I absolutely love a song and it continues to select from what I love.

  17. I just heard the I Don't Care by Fall Out Boy today. I really liked it. I have their last CD on my ipod, all the songs are so fast and upbeat I listen to it at the gym to keep me going.

I gave you an award over at my blog.

  18. I've lost it. I hardly recognized any of them and I'm embarrassed!

Guess I'll have to stick to my Thompson Twins.
