There are a lot of baby help items out there and some I am a fan of, but mostly I find many of them useless and not worth the money spent in comparison to the “help” they give. But one of these precious items that I hold in high regards in Teddy Toes. Teddy Toes are car seat blankets that stayed buckled in and also swaddle your baby, keeping him/her warm in cold weather.
I have truly loved this item. My friend Carla gave it to me and I have used it ever since I have had my daughter. She just slides right in and I strap her in the car seat while in the blanket. Even up here in Alaska with the cold weather, it holds up. Especially, since I am not a fan of putting socks on my kid. I will put them on when we are in the house, but I am tired of loosing socks out in the public. So…I don’t have her wear them outside the house where I will loose them at the store/restrooms/babysitters/relatives/church. I just slide her in the fuzzy covered blanket.
You can get them at many placed: Nordstrom, Target, just random places online. But here is the website http://www.teddytoes.com/ for all of you interested. With everything this item has to offer I give this Teddy Toes a mommy helping rating of four out of five stars!
Thanks for stopping by my blog today! These are such a cute idea! Would have come in very handy when my little guy was a baby that's for sure! I hear you with the items that 'help'! lol!
ReplyDeleteCool! My sister is due in just 10 weeks and I have been looking for little things to get her. So you say this is at Target? Awesome!
ReplyDeletethat thing looks so awesome. i think i might just have me a new baby just for that!!! actually that wouldn't be a bad idea!
ReplyDeletethanks for sharing!
What a great idea! I'll have to keep that in mind should I ever need one again in the future. (frightening thought!)
ReplyDeleteThat looks like sheer genius! I hate bundling them up so much that the buckles don't fit, and throwing a blanket over the top always just seems futile. It always gets kicked off.
ReplyDeletePerfect solution!
Thanks for stopping by (my blog)yesterday! I have wondered if these were worth while! Thanks for the review!I'm glad to hear you made it up to Alaska ok!
ReplyDeleteHow cool! Too darn hot to use them here in Texas- can't even keep the kiddo in a sweatshirt in the car for too long of a drive...gets too hot! I imagine that is great for those of you in colder climates though!
ReplyDeleteThanks for dropping by. Love, love this idea. I'm lovin' the pic of your hubby and Lucy. Your little girl is about two months younger than J (he was a month early).
ReplyDeleteShe's so cute. I can so relate to a lot of your posts!
That is truly a great little invention. My youngest is 4 and I have never seen one of those...it is so amazing what they keep coming up with,:)
ReplyDeleteI want another baby...I am going to look up that link. thanks!
K Question. Were you able to use it when they were itty bitty or just now that shes a little bigger? I hope you guys are having a blast up in Alaska!
ReplyDeleteThose are so cool! I've never seen those. I usually just use a blanket that falls off and into a muddy puddle.
ReplyDeleteI just stumbled upon you and thought I'd say "hi" and I wish I'd had that!
ReplyDeleteThat is a truly great baby thing! And I agree, there's a ton of useless crap out there for us unsuspecting parents ;)
my kids are grown now, but that would have been just perfect for them !!!! I love that blanket!
ReplyDeleteOH that's a great idea!!! If I have another wee one I'm gonna get me one of those!!
ReplyDeleteVery cool idea! I'll be getting one of these for the next baby shower I attend!
ReplyDeleteI would have loved one of those when my kids were little!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a straight jacket... but oh so cozy!!!
