If you all are looking for a good movie... look no further. Curtis and I were celebrating one of my sister's birthdays, so we took her out to dinner and a movie... and what can I say, we saw Kung Fu Panda and it was... HYSTERICAL! Really truly funny. It had all three of us belly laughing in the theater and I don't want to be cheesy too, but it had a few good messages like, believing in your self and have faith... just all around good stuff.
Jack Black was just wonderful and if you didn't like him before, you will like him now. It will be hard for me not to think of him as a big ol' lovable panda from now own.
So whether you are a minivan mom, a college child, or a burly woodsman... you will like this movie. And for all of you out there who already know this, all I can say is, "Skadoosh" :)

ReplyDeleteMy Josh keeps at us to see the Panda movie. I think we're going to try and take him really soon!
ReplyDeletethanks so much for your sweet comment on my infertility blog. i don't ever want people to feel bad about getting pregnant easily (cause of course i'm just jealous of you) but i'm glad i can remind them that babies really are a blessing. i know i've come to appreciate the miracle of conception, pregnancy and birth so much more throughout this struggle. and i daily look at my son and realize that he really is a miracle. but your comment made me feel really good so thanks!
ReplyDeletesounds cute, I can't wait to see it!
ReplyDeleteI have not seen it. BUT it is on the waiting list on my Netflix because I've only heard such great things about it. Everyone has loved it!

ReplyDeleteI took my kids to see it a couple of weeks back and thought it was super cute too. I was worried because I knew Jack Black was in it, but it kept to happy animation like a good cartoon should. :0)

I have heard from several people how good this movie is..I wonder if my 2.5 year old would sit through it in the theater with his daddy. I think Jack Black is hilarious!
ReplyDeleteJon took El to see that when I was in California...they loved it!
ReplyDeleteWe decided against Kung Fu Panda because our kids are already complete maniacs and showing them Kung Fu moves, especially done by cute animals, seemed foolish at best. (We'll rent it and watch it after they're in bed.)
ReplyDeleteI love this movie too and I think the word Skidoosh is hilarious. I bought the bagelfuls, two kinds and we all love them. Thanks for the head up on that!
ReplyDeleteYou know, I read somewhere that an idiot reporter interviewing Angelina Jolie about her role in this movie asked her if she learned martial arts for her role? Hehe . .
ReplyDeleteAnyway - I haven't seen it but want to!
My kids L~O~V~E~D this movie. I still need to see it.
ReplyDeleteHaven't seen this one, but glad to know it is appoved of. We are headed ot see Wall-E tonight.
ReplyDeleteAlright. You've convinced me to go see that, too. Disney should be paying you royalties!
ReplyDeleteMy kids enjoyed it.
ReplyDeleteMe...not so much.
It was okay.
The one line that has been repeated 100 times by my
four-year-old since seeing the movie:
"Oh my Tenders"!!!
Why is that the ONLY thing that was retained?
LOL
My son has been begging to see this movie lol If only now I can convince my husband lol :) Thanks for the post.
ReplyDeletethanks for the review. i've had my eye on this movie for awhile. my 4 year old got the panda in a kids meal somewhere and he says skadoosh! we've had some fun with that free toy! and i love jack black already! he makes me laugh!
