This is from the Martha Stewart website and has a tutorial, written instructions, and even other readers reviews of the craft. But does that just scream, "Oooober cute!"?
These are the cutest shopping bags that I have ever seen... heck... I would use it for an everyday purse! So whether you are looking to make a fashion statement or an environmental statement, then you might want to check out these bags.
I have been dying to buy or make one of these. I saw one in a magazine ad and ever since I have been looking for some tutorials. Besides just being cute they are also convenient. Keep diapers and baby wipes close and all together.... honestly, what mom isn't look for things to make their lives a little easier?
Looking for a cute growth chart? Here is one that would look good out of the kid's bedrooms and if you are looking for one that is more suited for a kid's room, then in a couple simple changes it could be done. I am going to try to change this one into a more tropical theme chart for my daughter's room... maybe a palm tree or a flamingo.
This is a beautiful one of a kind home treasure. Simply take a favorite photo of a child, use it to cut out fabric and make a heart melting work of art. What a wonderful gift for grandparents or even a cute nursery decoration.
Yep... that is right. A reusable sandwich bag! A cute project that will always spruce up hubbies or the kids' lunch bags. Plus, save some good money on zippy bags.
This one seems a little more complicated and a little more work than you would have to do, but it could be made easier by not sewing on the trim. I think this craft is creative and a great way to keep crayons in your bag for trips and maybe the crayons wont break as afteb in the soft fabric.

These are some cute and fun stuffed animals that you can make from left over sock or gloves that are just laying around the house. There is a book called, "Sock and Glove" by Miyako Kanamori and it is just wonderfully cute! I just bought a copy of it and am excited to get started, but recently she was on Martha Stewart and they posted step by step instructions to make a dog and bunny.
This is a very simple and interesting craft. By taking a scrapbook punch and using it with different paper, you can have your self a fun work of art. Easy to make for child's room, office, or fun kitchen decor.
I always have toys laying around and I only have 1 kid... so I don't know about you other moms... but I need a place to put them. Here is a cute, homemade toy bag that has endless possibilities.
Okay, I just can't get enough of this. Check out this LOVELY tree collage that I am just dying to make. If you don't think this is cute...well then, I just don't know what to do with you :)
What a gorgeous breakfast tray that is really one of a kind. This is a functioning tray or a beautiful decoration or even a nice gift.
So hopefully there is something here that will tickle your fancy and if it doesn't, at least I have a small list of things that I need to complete and do. I probably wont be doing any at least until hubby's payday :) Soooo, hurry up Friday!
I learn something new every time I stop by. Thanks for all your tips!
ReplyDeleteLove these ideas....Thanks!

ReplyDeleteThose are so cute...I am just not creative.
ReplyDeleteYep, that's me. I haven't sat down to my sewing machine in months. I need to set some time up to do it. I've considered making the diaper case myself, but I think my youngest will be in college before I get around to it!
ReplyDeleteOh, geez. And here I am, struggling to sew on my son's Cub Scout awards and badges... I'd love to learn an easy way to make some of these things, though.
ReplyDeleteThose are some fabulous ideas!
ReplyDeleteI'm bookmarking this one right now!
I especially love the silhouette and the nursery art!
Please stop by my Thursday Thirteen...it will lead you to mama friendly games...and PRIZES!

ReplyDeleteOkay, there's some really cool stuff to do in this list.
ReplyDeleteSo many crafts, so little time.
Good 13!
I love the breakfast tray - would use that for lots of stuff!
ReplyDeleteMy hubby is always saying that I jump from one 'fad' to another - which is mostly true. I've learned to just go-with-it though - it's just in my personality to get excited and throw myself into something - then get bored months later and look for a new venture.
I have been sewing plain giftbags to hopefully replace all the wrapping paper we use every year... Some cool stuff here! Happy TT

ReplyDeleteThanks for all you fun info!
Oh my gosh, that's a lot of craft ideas. I'm on overload!! Love it!
ReplyDeleteOkay so you MUST be the most motivated person ever. Some great ideas, as always found from you:)
ReplyDeleteI was given the little diaper case when I had my last baby. I LOVE it!
ReplyDeleteAnd I think I really want to try out a few of those! SUPER CUTE! Anything to contain toys is always good!
Seriously, one day I am going to do one of these. I promise!
ReplyDeleteThat is it! Now I have to move to Alaska so that you can teach me how to do all of this crafty stuff. I love it! I REALLY need to learn to sew!!!
ReplyDeleteI have a diaper case and I love it. I hated carrying a diaper bag. It just slips into my diaper bag sized purse. Mine slide in length wise, which I think would be easier. It looks like it would be a sinch to make. But alas, I only have so much time.
ReplyDeleteHere's what it looks like if you want to take a gander.

I don't know when I am going to buy or make an apron, but I really want one. Very cute stuff.
ReplyDeleteReally neat ideas. I'll have to try some.
ReplyDeleteCute list of craft projects! We must have been getting the same kind of 13 vibe as I did 13 kids crafting supplies we always keep on hand.
ReplyDeletegreat ideas!
ReplyDeleteLove the Hydrangea Tray
Happy TT!
Oooh..I like them all!
ReplyDeleteThose are some really cute ideas!! Nice TT!
ReplyDeleteI love that growth chart! I may have to make one for my kids as well! TFS!
ReplyDeleteI'm LOVING the Silhouette Frame idea. My problem is that I don't tend to take a lot of candid shots (I REALLY need to get better about that) so will really have to dig and see what I can come up with. Seriously loving this idea though.
ReplyDeleteAll the ideas are awesome, that's just the one that really called out to me. LOL
Hey! So fun that we've reconnected via blogger! Your blog is super cute and I'm excited to see what's going on with you and your family.
ReplyDeletewhere did you learn to be so creative? you rock.
ReplyDeleteOoo...I love that nursey collage. That is cool! Where do you get the energy woman?!
ReplyDeleteKeep on truckin'!
Wow!! I love all these crafted items... These are best for home and kitchen decor!!
ReplyDeleteGreat list! I'm going to have to do some of these. I've made the crayon holders, and they're really not hard, even with the trim. I even made a larger one to hold colored pencils for my sister who is always sketching with them, and she loves it.
ReplyDeleteDang it, I do NOT have time to try all these cool things! Too many choices! Maybe when they're in school - but then some of them wouldn't apply. The diaper case would make great baby shower gifts.
ReplyDeleteOooooh, all these ideas are inspiring!!!
