V8 V-Fuision

WFMW

I am not the best at eating my vegetables and fruits. I am a grown adult and I yet I still HATE them. I feel bad and I try to be good, but I just seem to fail miserably every time I buy a load of bananas... I like them, but half of them go bad and so then the next time I don't want to buy them because I know they will get wasted.

I have even tried getting into V8 juice... which was noooooot so successful. I just could never get through a can. It was too weird. But then they came out with V8 V-Fusion and OH MY GOSH! Amazing! It isn't amazing because it is the best juice ever (though it is really good) but because you get 1 serving of fruit and vegetables with every serving. Can you believe that!?

It is a dream come true for me. I try to drink 1 glass with every breakfast and then through out the day I still try to get fruits and veggies in, but at least I am comforted knowing I got at least 1 serving in everyday and a yummy serving at that.

They have 5 wonderful mixtures,
Pomegranate Blueberry
Strawberry Banana
Tropical Orange
Peach Mango
A├žai Mixed Berry

So whether you are trying to get your self, your kids, or your husband to eat their fruits and veggies, you should give this a try. Always tasty and always healthy being made with 100% juice.

  3. Thank you for the post. I have 3 children ages 3,5 & 7 & I know the stuggles with them eating health. My children have so many food allergies, so veggies & fruits are a few of the things that they can have. But like an typical kid they don't always want to eat their veggies & fruit. I will have to try this for them.

  4. I think I tried this once. I can't remember if I liked it or not. Is it pulpy? I don't like pulp.

I DO love the Bagelfuls that you recommended. I bought some on my grocery trip this week. LOVE THEM!!!
    Thanks! :)

  7. I love the peach flavor and my daughter loves the blueberry. They also don't seem as sweet to me as straight fruit juice which I like. Overall, very delicious and perfect for anyone who doesn't like veggies or veggie juice.

  8. The doctor recommended this when I was bemoaning the fact that DeBoy eats NOTHING except bread and related items. He LOVES it. We do cut it with apple juice, and we've discovered he can't have very much in one day because it does ugly things to his digestion, and you don't want to go there. I drink the one with the acai berry that the Mona Vie people have been promoting. Lots cheaper than $40 a bottle.

  13. I love the V-8 products but unlike you, I have learned to love my fruits and veggies. Some think I am so crazy because I actually eat salad....are you ready for this......DRY..yep, no dressing for me.

Good for you drinking something to make you get all those veggies and fruits in.

    Cheers!

  17. My childrne drink that for breakfast every day. They LOVE it and it is a super easy way for me to get some good food in them before I let them fill up on sugar the rest of the day. :)

  18. V8 Fusion, I heart you. It's the only way I can trick my boys (adult and child boys) to consume their vegetables...

  19. Thanks for commenting on my blog! I now have another favorite blog to add to my list. I'll have to try that V8 juice... it always seemed weird to me. Also my great grandparents drank it so I thought that it was just an "older" person drink. I'd love to find out why you all are in Alaska of all places. Maybe if I read a bit more back I can find out!

  20. The kids and I tried a sample of the strawberry banana (I think??) one and it was TASTY!! I'm not so great with fruits and veggies either, unfortunately, so I should look into actually purchasing some

  23. I am with you..I try to be a good example for my kids and thank God they are eating their fruits and veggies (unlike me) I do love that stuff. I also get the naked juice cases at Costco..yummy! Also I started my kids on the Juice Plus gummies. Have you heard of them? They are actual servings of fruits and veggies in the form of a gummie, and my kids love them. I have a rep that I buy them from, as you can't purchase them in any stores that I have found.

  24. I JUST found this amazing stuff and LOVE it!

My Bubbalu is horrendous when it comes to eating his veggies, and at least he's getting some good nutrients.

But I do love this stuff too.

  29. I've seen these for awhile now...Although I am a nazi when it comes to my kids eating their vegies...I'm not so good. I think I'll try one of these out. The pomegranite one sounds tasty.

  30. Great list, mine is up at 13 Not So Famous Last Words; Most Americans die peacefully in their beds, but for those who die violently one can only guess what their final words must have been. I think that after you read these you will have to agree that they do indeed sound like they might have been the last words of those who did not go peacefully into the night.

  31. My younger son won't eat veggies, so I've been buying this V8 Fusion for him for a while now, and he loves it! They even make a "light" version now with less sugar.

  32. My son will be 4 in September and I can't get him to eat ANYTHING healthy. He eats:

    mac and cheese
    cheese
    pizza (sometimes)
    bacon
    pepperoni
    bread occasionally
    mashed potatoes occasionally
    cereal sometimes
    chips and junk

NOTHING HEALTHY...I don't know what I'm going to do! Any suggestions from anyone. Someone said something about puree veggies in other stuff but if he sees it or it tastes different, he won't eat it. I should buy stock in Kraft I tell ya!

  33. Even our ped. says to just place veggies in front of him and when he gets hungry, he will eat it, eventually. I just can't seem to do it. Sometimes I just feel like that if he is eating anything...then at least he's eating. Oh, and he won't touch V-8 anything.

I love your blog!!! BTW, my granny said she would love to take a trip to Alaska before she dies! The hubby and I were thinking of doing a train through Alaska?! What are your thoughts on that?
