Baby Instructions

I have seen these floating around the internet for a while now and what can I say... they are freakin' hysterical. I laugh every time I see them. So hopefully these will provide a good laugh and not a scary realization that you might be doing something wrong. :)

  6. A family I babysit for has this book & I was horrified when I first opened it, but then I realized the "wrongs" were too outrageous to be serious. They're pretty hilarious. :)

  13. If you go to wishingfish.com you can purchase a little board book with all of these in them and as a bonus there's a little "Wheel of Responsibility" on the front. I've bought several of them and given them as part of my baby shower gifts. Everytime, the book ends up getting passed around and everybody ends up in tears from laughing so hard!

  16. oh my goodness! i have never seen those and they are a crack up! thankfully i am doing everything right. although, my husband LOVES and the kids LOVE to get thrown up VERY high in the air! but we always wait until there is good neck control before we do it. so i think we are safe!

  17. Yeah, I've seen some of those. I think it would be good to give a new dad, just so he would know he is okay with how he takes care of the baby and not to worry.

  18. oh those just made me laugh. thanks.

when they recalled the bumbo seat box to change the picture and add warnings i told my husband i am surprised that the hospital isn't stamping "do not leave unattended" on all of the babies foreheads!

  21. Hey! So glad you stopped by my blog! I got a chuckle out of you having a "thing" for Sly Stallone. I'm a big fan of Sarah Palin, by the way. I think she'll make a great V.P. Your baby is precious!! Feel free to visit my blog again! It's always great to meet someone new!

  24. ROFL! Those are definately hilarious. The ones I posted I had scanned into my computer from an actual book someone gave my friend at her baby shower. The baby has since been born and we were having a girls' night watching chick flicks and drinking wine and somehow that book turned up and we were laughing so hard. I had to post them!

  25. Priceless! These make me crack up every time I see them. I just love the baby in the rabbit cage with his little food and water thing. Every mom has to admit that the idea has crossed her mind when she needed to run to the bathroom or something.

  26. I actually have a story relating to the last picture. Once in the middle of the Sacrament after I had just had a new baby, my 2 1/2 year old daughter said very loudly, "You know why you can't feed the baby dad? Because you have hairy circles?" The benches around us were shaking with laughter.

  27. LOL! I laughed out loud and HAD to share with mom some of them! Leah shared some, but those are HILARIOUS!!

  28. There HAS to be a book collection of these out there.

My favorite is the waking one. Thinking of waking my kid with an air horn makes me snort.

  33. I wonder where you got these pictures. They are hysterical!!

    Are they real?

    Hugs!!

  34. Those are hysterical. But I was amazed that there is actually a recommended way to WAKE a baby! Why on EARTH would you ever need to wake a baby? Both of mine could wake themselves up far too easily for my sanity. And still do, for that matter.

  35. Is it bad that my husband DOES toss the baby into the air?? He has only dropped one child.. once.. :)

  36. Oh yeah. I posted these a few months ago. Love em!
