Souper Easy

I don't know about you all, but I like to keep my weekends simple. Saturdays and Sundays are my laid back days. Days where I get to see my husband and as a family we get to hang out and do things together. So, I don't like having to spend my weekends cleaning, running around town, or cooking. So here is a simple recipe for all weekend hogs like me :)

This seriously is the easiest recipe, but taste amazing and I'm not even a soup person!

Tortellini Soup
- 2 (10.75 ounce) cans of condensed tomato soup
- 1 tps dried oregano
- 1 Tbls dried basil
- 1 tsp dried parsley
- 3/4 tsp ground black pepper
- 4 1/2 ounces tortellini pasta

Just take two cans of tomato soup and follow directions on the stove. I like to use one can water one can milk. Then add spices and then tortellini. If you don't like tortellini you can use rice also.

  2. We had something similar this week, but less soupy. It had marinara sauce and sausage in it.

I'll have to try your recipe.

  4. I know what you mean about taking it easy on weekends. Friday nights are usually a quick supper, too....like pancakes&sausage or hamburgers&fries.

  12. Bad mom here, barely kept my family fed. The good thing was that my 17 yo learned how to make pancakes after I didn't make enough last night and made some for himself tonight.
The soup looks easy enough for me to do.

Hey, just wanted to respond to the comment you left me...I learned how to knit when my oldest was a baby, there's nothing quicker than a baby sweater. I used to go to a knitting shop on Tuesday evenings to learn and chat...anything like that around in your area?
