Well, world... you wore me down and I think I am finally going to read the "Twilight" books. Everyone keeps raving about them. I poo pooed Harry Potter before I read it, so I will give this a try. :)
.
On another note.... here are some free samples I have found online. You can get a free samples of Always pads, Degree deodorant for men, or even some free Nature Made liquid vitamin pills. Oh, I do love finding free samples :)

  2. You have to read the Twilight series!!!! I am not a big reader at all. In fact the I pretty much only read the scriptures or Better Homes & Gardens.

I totally fought the peer preasure for over a year. I finally gave in and I have now been converted to the world of vampires and werewolves. Back in June I read the first three books in four days!

I just finished Breaking Dawn... all 737 pages of it. Go and enjoy!

  5. I've heard about the Twilight series, but apparently the most recent book (#4 maybe?) was a great disappointment for most fans.

    Thanks for the freebies links!

  6. I know that I am a very vocal minority, but really, don't waste your time with the Twilight series. I want my life back! Can we talk about under-developed characters, major plot holes, and a guy so supposedly perfect he is more annoying than anything. The only good thing I found in the series was her friend Jacob (who surprisingly enough was a pretty well developed character... although he is just a minor character. Weird, I know) who she treats so poorly. I want my life back!

  10. You definitely have to read the Twilight series. I've read the first three books twice and am working on a third time. They are excellent but very, very addicting. A lot of people were disappointed with the last one but I thought it was great!

  13. I poo-poo'd Harry Potter for years as well (I think I finally read the first one just before book #4 came out) and I have since discovered I LOVE the HP books. But I intend to continue poo-poo-ing Twilight for now. lol!!!!

  14. I didn't start Harry Potter until the third book when my mom sent me a copy of the first. Loved it and kept up with the series. I first read Twilight when my old book club read it. Not as good as Harry Potter, but good enough that I read the next two books, and I put the latest release on hold at my library. I figure it'll be six months before I get it, and that's fine, I can wait. I don't need to buy the books. I did buy the Harry Potter books.

  15. I participated in a bloggy book swap last summer and that is how I discovered the Twilight series. I didn't think I would enjoy the first book becasue vampires aren't my thing but I LOVED IT! I have recommended it to everyone. I look forward to hearing what you think.
As for the free samples...I wish there were more for Canadians...boohoo.

  16. i was talked into reading them too and I made it all the way through the 4th...surprisingly. I was bored with most of the reading, but the author did manage to end each book with excitement. I just don't like when you have to wade through crap to get something decent. Then the last book didn't end how I wanted it too...haha, I am such a baby...so I lost all hope. I don't get the hype.

  17. I just read Twilight last week on vacation.
I read it in two days.
I searched the beach for a book store so I could buy the sequel.
    It. is. that. good.
I can hardly wait for the next one.
I said I would never read them either....Never say never.

  19. Yay! Soon you'll be addicted too. Can I claim some responsiility for this? I'm very smug about the growing list of friends I've gotten hooked.
